Frequently asked

What people ask us about AI roleplay

How it works, the feedback, LMS integration and funding.

What is an AI roleplay in corporate training?

An AI roleplay is a conversational simulation in which the learner talks to a character played by artificial intelligence. They practise difficult workplace situations — corrective conversations, feedback, negotiation, spotting psychosocial risk — and then receive a personalised analysis of their performance, assessed against 18 behavioural criteria. The roleplays are Qualiopi-certified and integrate with your LMS in SCORM format.

How is this different from standard e-learning?

E-learning transfers knowledge. AI roleplay builds the ability to act. The learner does not listen to a course: they live the situation, speak, react, and get immediate feedback. It is learning by doing — repeat, get it wrong, start again, with nothing real at stake. Behavioural skills stick because they are practised, not memorised.

Which skills can be developed?

Four broad areas: management and leadership (feedback, difficult conversations, delegation, leading change), sales and customer relations (objections, negotiation, hostile customers), workplace wellbeing and psychosocial risk (early warning signs, mental health, harassment), and diversity and inclusion (disability, everyday sexism, inclusive hiring). Each learning path can be built to fit your organisation's specific challenges.

How does the feedback work after a session?

The learner receives an individual report assessed against 18 behavioural criteria: a score per objective, a soft skills radar — empathy, active listening, self-assurance, clarity, relational intelligence, pacing — the strengths identified, and concrete actions to take. Trainers and managers get the wider view: statistics, individual results and collective progress.

How long is a session?

Between five and ten minutes. This short format fits into a working day without blocking out long stretches of time. Learners can practise freely as often as they like, then switch to assessment mode to receive their personalised report.

Is a VR headset required?

No. Unlike virtual reality training, AI roleplay needs no particular equipment. The simulations run on a computer, tablet or phone, through a browser or your LMS. The conversation happens by voice or keyboard — deployable straight away, with no logistics.

How does it fit into an existing training programme?

AI roleplay integrates in SCORM format with every major LMS. It works in the room, as practice during a training session, or remotely, to consolidate afterwards. Three formats exist: ready-to-use roleplays you can customise, bespoke design with a dedicated learning team, or building your own through our authoring tool.

Is AI roleplay eligible for French OPCO funding?

Yes. Reality Group is Qualiopi-certified and registered as a training provider under number 11756139875, which makes the training eligible for OPCO funding. AI roleplay can form part of an in-company training programme covered by your skills operator. Get in touch for a quote and a funding file suited to your organisation.
